Background & Expertise

I'm a researcher and engineer specializing in markerless motion capture and machine learning, and I cofounded Moverse to democratize motion capture. I earned my diploma in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, then moved to the UK to work at a fast-growing startup, gaining hands-on experience in entrepreneurship and large-scale engineering. I later joined CERTH/ITI as a research associate, where I developed a deep interest in computer vision — ultimately leading me to pursue a PhD at the University of Thessaly, focused on digital humans and markerless motion capture through representation learning.
